Avocado Oil – Health Benefits and Uses of the Super Oil

4. How to use avocado oil for skin at home

Since avocado oil is taken from the fruit of avocado and not made from pressing the seed, you can enjoy this healthy oil by simply using the inside of an avocado itself.
The simplest mask made with avocado oil involves just cutting out the fruit and mashing it in a bowl and then spreading it on your face. Let it dry so your skin can absorb that oil, then gently wipe it away with a damp paper towel. You can also use fresh avocado as a base for other skincare masks; add some organic olive oil, honey, oatmeal, and a raw egg and mix this all together. Spread on your face and let sit for about ten minutes before washing away.
Using avocado oil for skin can also help to treat psoriasis and eczema, and heal burns and diaper rash more quickly. Add a few drops of the oil to these affected area and cover with a bandage, and you may see skin soften and heal faster than if you used harsh treatments from the pharmacy.
5. Avocado oil for hair
Make a mask of the oil for hair in the same way as you do a face mask; the mashed fruit itself can be worked into the hair strands and massaged onto the scalp, and then washed away in the shower. You can also mix the mashed avocado with vitamin E oil or a raw egg, or even with some cold beer. Whisk this all together and then rub this into your hair, making sure you give your scalp a good massage. 6. Use avocado oil for your teeth!
